About White Rabbit Red Rabbit

With no rehearsal, no director, no set, a different actor every night, and the script in a sealed envelope on stage, White Rabbit Red Rabbit is experimental theatre at its very best. Book White Rabbit Red Rabbit tickets on London Theatre.

This show has a widely talented cast, with a different actor gracing the Soho Place stage each night. The exceptional lineup includes Michael Sheen (Prodigal Son, Good Omens), Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who, New Amsterdam), Mathew Baynton (Horrible Histories, Ghosts), Daisy Edgar Jones (Normal People, War of the Worlds), Olly Alexander (It's a Sin, Eurovision Song Contest 2024) and Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer, Code 404).

As Soho Place owner Nica Burns said, "And now for something completely different @sohoplace as we celebrate our second anniversary on 15 October. A surprise for both audience and performer every night! The risk! The excitement! The collective willing-on! Our intimate, in-the-round auditorium is perfect for such a collaborative performer and audience experience. We will all be in the moment together, close up and personal."

White Rabbit Red Rabbit in London is by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour. The interactive play was written to comment on Soleimanpour's absence, as he was unable to leave Iran at the time of its writing because he refused to undertake the national service. This play expertly balances comedy and tragedy as it explores themes of freedom and control.

"It is personal but universal. Funny yet very political and so timely for the world we live in. We are so excited to present it at this time and in such great company," said Nassim Soleimanpour Productions.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a play that premiered in 2011 at the SummerWorks festival in Edinburgh. The show has sincebeen performed over 3,000 times worldwide and translated into 30 languages. Many notable actors have starred in the show, including Whoopi Goldberg, Cynthia Nixon, Stana Katic, Wayne Brady, Bobby Cannavale, and Brian Dennehy.
