Disney’s HERCULES is truly a comedy out of this world: A young demi-god sets off to find himself and his place in the human world. The story is rounded out by a spectacular stage performance, great laughs for young and old, a real and honest hero – and, of course, true romance.
Hear the thrilling musical score written by Alan Menken and David Zippel and listen to all the R&B and gospel hits from the Disney movie, such as ‘Go the Distance’ (shortlisted for a Golden Globe and an Oscar in 1998), ‘From Zero to Hero,’ and ‘I Won’t Say I’m in Love’. The score will also include new songs, written exclusively for the musical stage, which will lead the audience from Olympus to Hades to the fantastic realm of Disney’s HERCULES.
The stage adaptation was written by Olivier Award nominee Kwame Kwei-Armah and Tony Award® winner Robert Horn, and directed by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw, who also staged the Broadway hit ALADDIN. That means audiences can look forward to a night full of entertainment, effects, and emotions.
