A Night with Janis Joplin Tickets

A Night with Janis Joplin in London stars Mary Bridget Davies, who earned a Tony Award nomination for her portrayal of Janis Joplin in the Broadway production. Sharon Sexton (Billy Elliot the Musical) will be playing the role of Janis Joplin at the matinee performances.

This isn't Davies's first time portraying Janis Joplin on stage. In 2005, she starred in the Off-Broadway musical Love, Janis. She has also toured in Europe with Joplin's original band, Big Brother and the Holding Company.

The musical also includes a stellar creative team with direction by Randy Johnson (Elvis: The Concert), choreography by Patricia Wilcox (Motown the Musical), and casting by Anne Vosser (Bright Half Life).

A Night with Janis Joplin is a musical that pays tribute to Janis Joplin through many of her hit songs, from Summertime to Cry Baby, Piece of My Heart, and many more musical numbers. The show also portrays many of Janis's musical inspirations, including Aretha Franklin, Bessie Smith, and Nina Simone.
