Fresh off a critically acclaimed, sold-out 2023 off-Broadway run, I'm Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire comes to London's Southwark Playhouse.

I'm Gonna Marry You Tobey Maguire in London stars Tessa Albertson (Younger), who is reprising the role of Shelby Hinkley from the Off-Broadway performance. Also included in the expert cast are Kyle Birch (A Strange Loop) as Brenda Dee Cankles and Anders Hayward (Gap Year) as Tobey Maguire.

The dark comedy is set in 2004 and follows the life of 14-year-old Shelby Hinkley, who struggles with a difficult home life and bullying at school. She pours all her time and energy into her obsession with Spiderman and even runs an online fan club. However, eventually, that's not enough, and she hatches a plot to kidnap Tobey Maguire from a California dental appointment and take him to her home in South Dakota. But soon, Shelby finds out that her fantasies may not match reality.

The play has been met with critical acclaim, including a 4-star review from BroadwayBaby.com that called the show, "Fresh and fun, with the energy of having just landed in London, this production is a whirlwind of late 90s nostalgia dripping with everrelatable teenage angst."
