Bugsy Malone premiered in 1976, starring Scott Baio as Bugsy, Jodie Foster as Tallulah, Mark Curry as Oscar deVelt, and Bonnie Langford as Lena Marelli. Bugsy picked up a Golden Globe nomination for Best Motion Picture (Musical/Comedy), and an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song Score. The Bugsy Malone musical premiered at Her Majesty's Theatre in 1983, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones as Tallulah. Sheridan Smith then played Tallulah in Bugsy Malone in 1997.
