The West End premiere of Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical is at the Arts Theatre in spring 2022. Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical tickets are available now on London Theatre.
The Bonnie and Clyde musical follows the true stories of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. Together, they were a pair of criminals who caused havoc across America during the Great Depression. Both Bonnie and Clyde grew up in small towns in Texas, but dreamed of a bigger life. So when they met each other, they took the future into their own hands, even if that meant robbing banks to get by.
Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow evaded police capture on so many occasions that they became American heroes. Together, the pair represented a glamorous criminal underworld that many could only dream of. But as they continued on the run, they had no choice but to put their friends and family in danger, and their end drew nearer. Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical explores why they turned to life of a crime, and how the world watched their every move.
There’s many musicals in London based on historical events. Take Come From Away, Six, and Hamilton. But none of them focus on a couple quite as alluring as Bonnie and Clyde. The musical explores the pair’s lust while they took on the world.
Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical features an original story by Ivan Menchell, and original music by Frank Wildhorn and Don Black. Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical songs include “Made in America,” “How ‘Bout a Dance?” and “This World Will Remember Me.”
Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical London premiered as a concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane in 2022, with original Broadway star Jeremy Jordan reprising the role of Clyde. Now, the musical gets a full run at the Arts Theatre.
