Kelly Brook in Fat Pig 13 Oct 2008

Kelly Brook will make her West End stage debut starring as ‘Jeannie’ in Neil LaBute’s Fat Pig, from 13 Oct 2008.

She will join Kevin Bishop (Carter), Nicholas Burns (Tom) & Ella Smith (Helen). Joanna Page will have her last performance as 'Jeannie' on 11 Oct 2008.

Kelly Brook, who recently took part in “Strictly Come Dancing” on BBC 1, is an English model, actress and TV presenter who topped the ‘FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005’ list. She has appeared on stage in “Eye Contact” at the Riverside Studios in London and her films include “The Italian Job”, “Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo” and “Sorted”.

Fat Pig, opened at the Trafalgar Studios 1, 27 May 2008, following previews from 16 May. It transfers to the Comedy theatre 11 Sep 2008, where it is currently taking bookings to 22 Nov 2008.

The comedy received reasonable notices from the popular press: THE EVENING STANDARD says, "Induces waves of laughter." THE INDEPENDENT says, "Snappy production." THE STAGE says, "LaBute fails to find enough substance in the piece." THE TIMES says, "Sassy, dangerously comic dialogue and some subtle observation."

When Tom first meets Helen there is an instant connection, but its not exactly love at first sight... Helen is a bright, funny, sexy young woman who happens to be plus-sized - and then some - so its only so long before the insults start to fly from Tom's shallow yet shockingly funny office buddies.
