Rumours & Gossip!
It has been reported that the previously rumoured musical version of Groundhog Day will have a second workshop in London in March. According to Baz in the Daily Mail, if the workshop goes well the musical may have its sights on The Old Vic in 2016. Featuring music and lyrics by Tim Minchin (Matilda) it will be directed by Matthew Warchus, incoming Artistic Director of the London venue. This new musical is based on the 1993 Bill Murray-led film of the same name.
